Phina Oruche

I have been blessed to be able to work in the entertainment business, first as a model when I was a little skinny girl, and now I am all grown up, I get to play lots of wonderful women.

My preference is for drama, though I have got a funny bone. 

I have been blessed with being able to work both in  Los Angeles  aka HOLLYWOOD, at home in my dear old LONDON town, in PARIS (with the late and great Sydney Pollack who gave me my first part!) and Ireland where my latest movie was filmed.

I am further blessed that I have been able to hone my craft on stage in the theatre and also to be able to work in the mediums of film and TV.

I am very  grateful to the grace of God for allowing me to transcend my humble beginnings in life and work alongside world class talent whilst harvesting the gold he placed in my soul. 

I am very thrilled that during my pregnancy and the early days with my son, I was able to do presenting work and stay very close to home. But my dreams always go back to acting.

It is my desire to be able to create interesting characters until the day I meet the Lord.

Remember some wise woman once said "A big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting!"  That I have found to be so true.

So  I shoot for the stars, even though I'm  a lousy shot. I am often blessed to still end up high and lifted up, perhaps  one day fly high enough to land on the moon:)

Acting puts a spring in my step. I am still so passionate about it.

I hope to keep growing and playing in this sandbox for eternity.
